In 2017, I created the first hover tilt effect as an open-source JavaScript plugin. It has received nearly 4,000 stars and almost half a million downloads. This led to numerous forks for other frameworks and languages, resulting in well over 3 million downloads and roughly 10,000 stars on Github.
